Occupation Journalist, Television Personality

William Dawes "Bill" Schulz (born August 14, 1975) is a regular panelist, writer, and producer on Fox News Channel's late night show, Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld since its debut on February 5, 2007. As a sidekick on Red Eye, Schulz routinely looks directly into the camera (even when he is not being talked to) with his signature "crazy-eyed look." Schulz provides the voice for an anthropomorphization of the The New York Times newspaper named "Pinch" (a sly reference to Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr., current publisher of the Times). The host of the show, Greg Gutfeld, consistently portrays Schulz as having weird sexual practices, such as bestiality; it is a recurring joke on the show. Schulz is also a freelance writer and a former senior editor of Stuff Magazine.[1]

In April 2009, Schulz made a famous cameo on Glenn Beck's TV program. Beck described Schulz as the "average American" and pretended to pour gasoline (actually water) on him from a red container during Beck's monologue against President Barack Obama. Beck discussed setting Schulz on fire (which could not happen since it was only water).[2][3]

Personal life

Schulz was born in Lake Forest, Illinois. He attended high school in Illinois at Lake Forest Academy, and in 1998, received a BA in Print Journalism graduating from Emerson College.

He is a direct descendant of William Dawes, Jr. who rode with Paul Revere to warn the colonial minutemen of the presence of British army troops before the Battle of Lexington & Concord at the beginning of the American Revolution.[1]
